A new class of fused 1,4-diazepines: synthesis of substituted 8,8a-dihydrofuro[2,3-b][1,4]diazepin-2-ones

Abstract

The novel furo[2,3-b][1,4]diazepines 7 have been synthesized in two steps from acetylenedicarboxylic acid esters and 4-amino-1-azabutadienes 1via their 1,3,2-diazasiline derivatives 2 and the crystal structure of 7a has been determined.
