Use of convolution voltammetry for the determination of single-ion Gibbs energies of transfer

Abstract

Convolution cyclic voltammetry has been extended to the analysis of the case of mixed trace/binary electrolyte diffusion and this technique has been applied to the determination of the standard Gibbs energy of transfer of the Rb+ ion between water and 1,2-dichloroethane. It is shown that this method gives accurate results.
