Synthesis and structure of a one-dimensionally extended aluminium phosphate: Et3NH+(H2AIP2O8)

Abstract

The preparation and characterization of a novel, chain aluminium phosphate macroanion, in which Al and P each have fourfold co-ordination, are described; its method of synthesis, using a predominantly non-aqueous environment with organic templates, gives rise to other crystalline solids with new structures.
