Modifying effect of ultrasound upon the electrochemical oxidation of cyclohexanecarboxylate

Abstract

The electrochemical oxidation of cyclohexanecarboxylate, performed under conditions which normally produce equivalence of both one-electron and two-electron pathways, exhibits a marked predominance of two-electron products together with increased reaction efficiency when carried out under simultaneous ultrasonic irradiation.
