Application of adsorptive stripping voltammetry to the study of the reaction of immunoglobulin E with anti-immunoglobulin E
Abstract
Adsorptive stripping voltammetry has been used to study the voltammetric behaviour of immunoglobulin E (lgE) and anti-lgE and their interaction. The adsorptive stripping voltammetric behaviour of both proteins has been optimised with respect to the accumulation potential, accumulation time, scan rate and drop size and it has been demonstrated that adsorptive stripping voltammetry can be a useful technique for the study of the interaction of the two proteins directly in solution.
