Reaction of (η-C9H7)Rh(η-C2H4)2 with 2 equiv. of Me2PCH2CH2PMe2(dmpe) or Me2PCH2CH2PPh2 results in displacement of all π-bound ligands; the salt [Rh(dmpe)2]+[C9H7]+ has been characterized by X-ray crystallography.
