Nucleophilic reactivity of a copper(II)–imidazolate complex

Abstract

Imidazolate co-ordinated to a copper(II) complex with diethylenetriamine had high nucleophilic reactivity in the cleavage of the ester bond of p-nitrophenyl benzoate in dimethyl sulphoxide solution.
