The high activation of (Ph2P)2C
CH2 by palladium acetate or palladium chloride towards additions
Abstract
Palladium acetate very highly activates co-ordinated (Ph2P)2CCH2 towards additions of amines, hydrazines, amino acid esters, alcohols, phenols, thiols, acetylacetone, and acetoacetic ester; palladium chloride also activates but less strongly: additionally, Pd(OAc)2 catalyses additions to the free ligand (Ph2P)2C
CH2.
