Surface species formed from the reaction of H2–CO over ZrO2 as studied by I.R. spectroscopy

Abstract

Formation of the adsorbed surface species CHO, (CH2O)n, CH3O, and CHOO from reaction of H2–CO over ZrO2 at temperatures between 298 and 373 K and at low pressure (0.5 atm) has been detected by i.r. spectroscopy.
