57Fe n.m.r. spectroscopy of heme proteins: chemical shift anisotropy and relaxation parameters of carbonylmyoglobin

Abstract

The first observation of 57Fe n.m.r. signals in a protein, carbonylmyoglobin, is reported, together with a determination of the 57Fe relaxation times and chemical shift anisotropy.
