Abstract

The complex, trans-[Ru(CHO)(CO)(dp)2][SbF6][dp = 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)benzene] decomposes with first order kinetics to give trans-[RuH(CO)(dp)2][SbF6], via a free radical mechanism.
