Evidence for cluster ion structure and condensed-phase properties in the gas-phase cluster ion distributions from methylenenitramine telomers
Abstract
Mass spectral data are presented that show a correlation between the cluster ion distributions from ion–molecule reactions of methylenenitramine telomers (1,3,5-trinitro-1,3,5-triazinane and 1,3,5,7-tetranitro-1,3,5,7-tetrazocane) and their known crystalline properties—molecular structure and intermolecular forces.
