A clay-modified electrode with stereoselectivity

Abstract

An SnO2 glass electrode coated with a Δ-Ru(phen)32+-montmorillonite clay oxidized racemic Co(phen)32+(phen = 1,10-phenanthroline) at 30 °C to produce Λ-Co(phen)32+ with 7% optical purity.
