Abstract
Separate experiments, based on 13C and 1H chemical-shift measurements, respectively, for the system hexamethylbenzene (D)+ 1,3,5-trinitrobenzene (A) in carbon tetrachloride under the condition [D]
[A] have yielded constants K1(for D + A ⇌ DA) and K2(for DA + D ⇌ D2A) which are in close agreement.
