Error simulation experiments. The virial equation in the adsorption of isobutene on aerosil

Abstract

The adsorption of 2-methylprop-1-ene on Aerosil has been investigated as a prototype system for studying the precision with which the coefficients of the virial adsorption isotherm can be determined from experimental data. An experiment simulation method is developed to calculate the error produced in the determination of parameters for a model applied to an experimental system.
