Reduction potentials (versus n.h.e.) determined by cyclic voltammetry are reported for 11 µ-superoxo/µ-peroxo-dicobalt(III) couples. A dependence of E⊖ values on the identity of bridging and terminal ligands, and on the degree of chelation of amines is observed. The effect of protonation of µ-peroxo ligands on E⊖ values at pH < 3 is noted.
