Iron(III) perchlorate doping of polyacetylene

Abstract

Free-standing films of polyacetylene have been oxidized with Fe(ClO4)3 to yield materials exhibiting high electrical conductivity thus providing an alternative route to the electrochemical p-doping with perchlorate anion.
