The crystal structures of complexes between dimthylthallium picrate and two isomers of dicyclohexano-18-crown-6

Abstract

A linear Me2Tl+ ion is equatorially surrounded by six oxygen atoms in each isomer which has cyclohexano-rings tn the chair conformation related by a centre of symmetry for the cis-anti-cis isomer (B), and a pseudo plane of symmetry for the cis-syn-cisisomer (A); at each cyclohexane ring the Tl–O(axial) are significantly longer than the Tl–O(equatorial) bonds.
