Experimental and theoretical study of the electronic structures of thionyl fluoride, sulphur tetrafluoride and sulphur tetrafluoride oxide
Abstract
He (I) and He (II) photoelectron spectra for the title compounds are reported and ionization energies, fine structure and intensity changes are correlated with the results of ab initio calculations. Agreement is generally good. Correlations of levels between compounds are made and some comments on X-ray emission spectra and their connections with the present work are appended.
