Study of the equilibria in some diethylamine–phenol molecular complexes in aprotic solvents

Abstract

Molecular associations in systems consisting of phenol derivatives with diethylamine in benzene solution have been studied by cryoscopic and dielectric methods. Over the concentration range studied the AB and A2B2 species dominate in solution. The equilibrium constants have been determined in CCl4 by infrared spectroscopy.
