The new compounds [Mo(η-C5H4Me)Cl4] and [Mo(η-C5H4R)Cl3(OH)], where R = Pri or Bun, [{Mo(η-C5H4R)(µ-O)O}2], R = Me, Pri, or Bun, [{Mo(η-C5H5)Ol}2(µ-O)], [Cl(η-C5H5)Mo(µ-SMe)3Mo(η-C5H5)Cl2], [Cl(η-C5H5)Mo(µ-OH)(µ-SMe)2Mo(η-C5H5)Cl2], and [{Mo(µ-C5H4Bun)Cl2}2(µ-S2)] have been prepared and characterised.
