Abstract

The synthesis and reaction of the complex salts [MW{µ-η1,η3-C(C6H4Me-4)H}(CO)2Ln(η-C5H5)][BF4][MLn= Co(CO)(η-C5Me5) and Pt(PMe3)2] are described; the structure of the platinum–tungsten species, and the compounds [PtW(µ-H){µ-CH(C6H4Me-4)}(CO)2(PMe3)2(η-C5H5)] and [CoW{µ-η1,η3-C(C6H4Me-4)C(Me)C(Me)H}-(µ-CO)(CO)(η-C5H5)(η-C5Me5)][BF4] being established by X-ray diffration.
