Vibrational structure in the luminescence spectra of uranium-doped tungstates with ordered perovskite structure

Abstract

The vibrational structure which is observed in the luminescence spectra of uranium-doped tungstates with ordered perovskite structure has been investigated using, among other methods, selective excitation techniques. Several types of luminescent uranate centres (UO6–6) are present in these compounds even at low uranium concentrations. An analysis of the vibrational structure is presented.
