Olefin epoxidation with α-hydroperoxides of esters, amides, ketones, and nitriles

Abstract

A number of α-substituted hydroperoxides are capable of olefin epoxidation; unusual cistrans selectivities are observed in reactions with olefins substituted with phenyl-groups.
