Viscosities of CFCl3, CF3Cl, CHFCl2, CHF2Cl and CHF3 from 373 to 570 K

Abstract

The viscosities of CFCl3, CF3Cl, CHFCl2, CHF2Cl and CHF3(refrigerants R11, R13, R21, R22 and R23) have been measured from 373 to 570 K using a capillary-flow viscometer of the comparative type. The results have been used to generate Lennard-Jones (12,6) parameters for these compounds and both these parameters and the viscosities are compared with previously recommended values. Values for well depth ε and collision diameter may be indicated as follows. [graphic omitted]
