Composition dependence of fluidities and conductances of mixtures of hydrated melts

Abstract

Composition dependence of fluidity, ϕ and conductance, Λ of molten mixtures of hydrated zinc and calcium nitrates have been explained over the entire range of temperature in terms of an expression based on the concept of constant T/T0 and not on the criteria of constant T. T0 is the zero mobility temperature and T is the absolute temperature. Variation in the pre-exponential factor, AY of the Vogel–Tammann–Fulcher equation has been found to be a linear function of T0.
