Room-temperature Mössbauer parameters are reported for carbonyliron complexes of the types [Fe(CO)4L], [Fe2(CO)7L], and [Fe2(CO)6L] where L is a cyclic diazene ligand. The data for the mononuclear [Fe(CO)4L] complexes are compared with those of organophosphane complexes of the same type.
