The radical anion of trimethyl phosphite

Abstract

Using e.s.r. spectroscopy it is shown that γ-irradiation of polycrystalline trimethyl phosphite generates the novel radical anion ·P(OMe)3 which undergoes a structural rearrangement on annealing.
