Photoluminescence during the catalysis of water decomposition on an activated europium(III)-Y zeolite

Abstract

EuIII is easily reduced to EuII in EuIII-Y zeolite when it is evacuated above 300°C; activated EuIII-Y has the ability to decompose water at low temperatures (25–50°C).
