Germanium analogue of the well known methylidyne cobalt clusters: X-ray crystal structure of (CO)9Co3Ge–Co(CO)4

Abstract

The molecular structure of the germylidynenonacarbonyltricobalt cluster compound (CO)9Co3Ge–Co(CO)4 has been established by X-ray crystallographic analysis and is compared with the analogous methylidyne and silylidyne cluster molecules.
