A new mode of theophyllinate anion–metal bonding: N(7),N(9)-bridging in theophyllinate complexes of trimethylplatinum(IV)

Abstract

The theophyllinate anion forms a trimeric complex with trimethylplatinum(IV) which contains Pt–N(7),N(9)–Pt bridges and a weak, direct (C–6)O–Pt bond.
