Chlorinated pyridine compounds: quantum chemical calculations and chlorine-35 nuclear quadrupole resonance frequencies

Abstract

The 35Cl n.q.r. frequencies were measured for some chlorinated pyridine compounds. The frequencies were assigned to chlorine atoms substituted in various positions in the pyridine ring. Quantum chemical calculations confirm the assignments given.
