Synthesis and stereochemistry of co-ordinated sulphenate and sulphinate

Abstract

Peroxide oxidizes S-co-ordinated (R)-cysteine to two isomeric sulphenates and a sulphinate derivative; the X-ray cyrstal structure of one of the sulphenates is described.
