Abstract

The compounds (RNH2)2CrCl4(R = Me, Et, C8H15, or C10H21) have been prepared and characterized; their magnetic and optical behaviour is compared to that of the transparent ferromagnets A2CrCl4(A = K, Rb, or Cs).
