The detection of unstable molecules by microwave spectroscopy: phospha-alkenes CF2[double bond, length half m-dash]PH, CH2[double bond, length half m-dash]PCl, and CH2[double bond, length half m-dash]PH

Abstract

The unstable phospha-alkenes CF2[double bond, length half m-dash]PH,CH2[double bond, length half m-dash]PCl, and CH2[double bond, length half m-dash]PH have been identified by microwave spectroscopy as products in the pyrolysis of CF3PH2, CH3PCl2, and (CH3)2PH, respectively.
