Dielectric relaxation studies of phases III and IV of thiourea

Abstract

The complex dielectric permittivity of crystalline samples of thiourea perpendicular to the [010] direction has been measured over the frequency range 150 MHz–4 GHz at temperatures covering all four anomalies. The dielectric relaxation process has been analysed for phases III and IV and single relaxation times of about 10–10 and 10–12 s, repectively, have been found.
