Organoboron compounds. Part X. Polycyclic borazines

Abstract

The synthesis of polycyclic borazines, (BN[CH2]ηX)3(X = O, NH, or NMe; n= 2 or 3) by reaction of a tris-alkylthioborane with a series of hydroxyamines or diamines is described and their i.r. and mass spectra and possible mechanism of formation are discussed.
