SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE:
Arrhenius parameters have been obtained for the thermolysis of syn- and anti-dimers of cyclobutadiene, and the data explained in terms of a biradical mechanism; the possibility that the singlet biradical may undergo intersystem crossing is discussed.
