“Hot” transitions in the infra-red spectra of iodoacetylene

Abstract

Infra-red and Raman spectra have been recorded of monoiodoacetylene in the gas and solid phase and in solution in the region 4000–200 cm–1. The “hot” bands associated with the fundamentals and some of the combinations and overtones have been analysed.
