X-Ray structure of the pentacyanocobaltate(II) anion in diethyldi-isopropylammonium pentacyanocobaltate

Abstract

The crystal and molecular structure of the [Co(CN)5]3– anion has been determined; the complex has square-pyramidal geometry with a trans Cbasal–Co–Cbasal angle of 164·7(4)° and Co–Capical and Co–Cbasal bond lengths of 2·01 and 1·89 Å, respectively.
