X-Ray crystal structure of the thiamine hydrochloride–copper(II) complex

Abstract

In the molecular structure of the thiamine hydrochloride·CuCl2 complex, the organic cation is closely surrounded by three copper tetrachloride anions whose configurations deviate significantly from ideal tetrahedral geometry.
