Insertion of chlorosulphonyl isocyanate into a transition-metal–carbon bond
Abstract
A novel dicarbonyl-π-cyclopentadienylironamido-complex, cpFe(CO)2[N(SO2Cl)C(O)CH2C(Me)= CH2](cp =π-cyclopentadienyl), is the product of the first reported insertion of chlorosulphonyl isocyanate into a transition-metal–carbon bond; this reaction is believed to proceed via a dipolar iron–olefin complex.
