Polyiodine cations. Preparation and nuclear quadrupole resonance characterization of tri-iodine and penta-iodine tetrachloroaluminates, I3+AlCl4 and I5+AlCl4

Abstract

Compounds formulated as I3+AlCl4, I5+AlCl4, and I2Cl+AlCl4 have been prepared and so characterized according to phase equilibria studies and nuclear quadrupole resonance spectroscopy data.
