Current distribution on a rotating disc electrode

Abstract

In solutions of low conductivity, the current at a rotating disc electrode may not be uniform. A simplified but more approximate version of Newman's theory 1 is presented, together with a diagnostic diagram for whether the effect will be important or not in any particular experiment.
