For Al[Co(CN)6] the thermodynamics and kinetics of the reaction outer-sphere complex ⇌ inner-sphere complex have been investigated. From measurements with the pressure-jump relaxation technique between 10 and 40°C the rates and energies of activation have been obtained. The equilibrium constants were determined by the conductometric method and from the amplitude of the relaxation effect.
