The sulphur(II)–nitrogen bond. Part II. The transamination of diamino sulphides and sulphenamides

Abstract

The application of transamination to diamino sulphides and to benzene- and methane-sulphenamides gives high yields of sulphur(II) nitrogen compounds. The mixtures resulting from secondary amines and methanesulphenyl chloride can be conveniently separated by use of this reaction. Transamination of gem-diamines has been observed.
