4-Methyl-1-phenylpentane-1,3-dione and 2-isopropylchromone from the essential oil of Lophomyrtus bullata

Abstract

In addition to bullatenone (2), a unique constituent of essential oils, two related compounds, 4-methyl-1-phenyl-pentane-1,3-dione (1) and 2-isopropylchromone (3) have been isolated from the essential oil of Lophomyrtus bullata.
