Ring inversion in bishexahydropyrimidylmethanes. An interesting case of diastereotopism due to slow ring inversion
Abstract
The changes, with temperature, of the n.m.r. spectra of a series of bishexahydropyrimidylmethanes, are explained in terms of the existence of two diastereoisomeric sets of conformations interconvertible by ring-inversion process.
