Observation of non-radiative energy transfer from Cr(NH3)63+ to Cr(NH3)5Cl2+
Abstract
The long (60 µs) risetime of the 2E→4A2 phosphorescence of Cr(NH3)5Cl2+ in Cr(NH3)6(ClO4)3 indicates that the emissive states is populated intermolicularly.
