Rotational isomerism in the esters of furan-2- and thiophen-2-carboxylic acids

Abstract

In carbon tetrachloride solution at 303 K the rotational isomers of the esters of furan-2- and thiophen-2-carboxylic acids are tentatively correlated with the syn-s-trans and the anti-s-trans conformations.
